How to Fix Stuck & Pending Transactions on Polygon

Stuck transactions on Polygon are caused by underpriced EIP-1559 priority tips or nonce gaps. Here is how to unblock your transaction pipeline immediately.

Why Transactions Get Stuck

  • Underpriced EIP-1559 tip (maxPriorityFeePerGas) falling below the current Polygon validator inclusion floor.
  • Nonce sequence gaps where a prior transaction with nonce N is pending, blocking subsequent transactions N+1, N+2.
  • Base fee spikes between transaction creation and broadcast leading to mempool eviction.
  • Local wallet state desynchronization caching an incorrect next-available nonce.

How to Unstick Nonce Pipelines

  • Query `eth_getTransactionCount(address, 'pending')` to find the lowest stuck nonce in the sequence.
  • Broadcast a replacement transaction with the EXACT same nonce and a minimum +10-15% higher priority fee.
  • Send transactions through authenticated endpoints that broadcast directly to the Polygon peer-to-peer network without intermediate queue delays.

Standard RPC is adequate when:

  • submitting non-urgent transactions
  • manual gas speed-up via MetaMask is acceptable
  • low volume transaction frequency (<1 tx/min)
  • zero risk of transaction displacement

Dedicated transaction propagation is required when:

  • running automated payment sweeps, multi-sig payouts, or batch transfers
  • stuck transactions cascade and block your entire hot-wallet pipeline
  • you need instant transaction hash receipt and immediate mempool propagation
  • dynamic gas bumping must be automated with strict nonce management

Instant Transaction Propagation on Polygon Mainnet

BlazingNode broadcasts your raw transactions directly to the Polygon peer network with reliable throughput ceilings and clean mempool propagation.
